How would you describe your style of wedding photography?

I would describe my style as, relaxed, natural, fun, and I capture your day in an unobtrusive way that tells a story through candid moments caught between all of the love laughter and magic of the day.

How long have you been a wedding photographer?

I've been a professional wedding photographer since the beginning of 2017. I'd practiced photography as a hobby for around 5 years previously to that, and though i'd already fell in love with the craft of it, after doing my first wedding, I felt like I was at the beginning of something really beautiful and exciting, and I was right. It's one of the best decisions I ever made.

Do you hold or pencil in dates? And how do we secure our booking?

From the first initial enquiry, we can arrange a consultation via a video call or face to face. if I have the date available for you, I can hold that date for up to a week. To secure the booking, I require a non-refundable deposit of £100. Terms are included in the contract which will be included in the deposit invoice that I send to you via email upon booking.

We really don't like having our photos taken, can you help with this?

Please don't worry. One of the most common things I hear from brides, and from grooms is that they don't like having their photo taken. This is not something you should be stressing about on your big day. My style of photography is natural and I want it to feel that way when you're having your portraits. Nothing forced or too posed, and it's my job to take that stress away from you and capture stunning portraits in a raw and authentic way. This is also one of the reasons I highly suggest engagement sessions, that way you can get a feel for what it's going to be like on your wedding day, and you also get to take away some more treasured memories as part of the journey to your big day.

Our family friend wants to take pictures. Can they?

Yes, of course! The only thing I would ask is that guests be respectful of giving me the space I need to get the best quality shots for your day, and to try and keep their phones and cameras out of important shots, eg. walking down the aisle, so that I can capture the reactions of everybody involved without having their faces hidden by a phone or camera.

Can we provide a list of photos we like for inspiration?

Honestly, that would be great! I'm a huge fan of Pinterest boards myself, and I think it can help to get both of our creative juices flowing to create the vision that best reflects you and your day. So send me the link to your board or link of images you like and let's create our own magic!

The only thing that I would need to advise is that I appreciate the authenticity and respect other photographers and we all have our own styles, and I would not want to try and imitate somebody else's work. I take influence from others work to use with my own style, so please don't expect the two images to look the same.

Do we need to provide a meal for you on the day?

Yes please. As you can imagine like any working day, I need breaks and fuel to be able to work at my best. You don't need to worry about providing me with a space at a table. If seating is limited, if you could ask the venue if there is a separate area where I can eat but to make sure it's at the same time as you both so that I can get back to work as soon as possible.

What if we need to change our wedding date?

I will always do my absolute best to accomodate anything you need. I would ask if the date needs to change that you consult me beforehand and with at least 6 months notice. I will certainly try my best to reschedule for you, though it's not something I can guarantee once it has been booked as it may conflict with my work schedule.

How long after our wedding before we see our photos?

After the wedding, the photos will be ready within 42 days (six weeks). In the meantime, I send sneaky previews that you can share with your friends and family whilst you wait for the finished album.

How do you edit the photos?

During the editing process, I edit them to what I believe to be a high standard. Some images may be retouched. For example, if before the group shots, somebody gets a spot of mud on their dress, or if during the portraits there is a hair in front of your eye. However, I don't heavily airbrush or change body or facial features, I shoot the raw and the beautiful! Embrace it.

Can we get all of the unedited photos?

Afraid not! As part of my job as a photographer, the finished product is the only product I offer. This is what I have carefully selected and edited to a standard that we both can be proud of and value.

Do we get a selection of colour and black and white images?

Yes. I like to get a variety of both colour and black and white. Both of which can bring a completely different feel to an image. So through the editing process, I try to ensure you get a great variation of choice.

How far do you travel?

I am available for weddings primarily in the UK, Ibiza, and worldwide for destination weddings. For UK and Ibiza weddings, all packages include travel costs within 30 miles (60 mile round trip). For venues outside of this radius, I charge a flat fee of £25 per 50 miles travelled. For destination weddings, please send me a message or book a free consultation so that we can discuss a personalised bespoke package for you.

What are the payment terms?

Once the deposit has been taken and the booking is secured, the final payment isn't due until 30 days before the wedding. However, if you would like to make payments in between then, that is something we can arrange.

I hope this page has helped give clarity on any questions you may have, but if you would like to know more, simply get in touch or book a free consultation, and let's chat!
